The Skoda Elroq is already a hit … And it’s about to get even better

In a fast-moving EV market, standing still is not an option. That’s exactly why Škoda Auto is upgrading its two key electric models : the Elroq and the Enyaq. And even if the changes look subtle on the outside… the real upgrades are happening under the hood.
More tech, more efficiency
At first glance, nothing crazy. But dig a little deeper, and things get interesting.
Entry-level versions like the Elroq 60 now switch to LFP batteries (lithium iron phosphate). These 58 kWh packs are known for better durability and longer lifespan, even if they sacrifice a bit of energy density. Perfect for daily use.
There’s also a new electric motor (APP350), delivering 190 hp and 350 Nm of torque. Performance stays solid, with 0–100 km/h in around 8.5 seconds and a top speed capped at 160 km/h. Fast enough for most drivers.
Charging? Up to 105 kW, meaning a 10–80% recharge in about 26 minutes.
Higher-end versions step things up even more, especially when it comes to towing. The Elroq can now pull up to 1.8 tons, while the Enyaq goes up to 2.2 tons in its RS version, impressive for EVs.
A real digital upgrade
Inside, this is where you’ll really feel the difference.
A brand-new infotainment system based on Android brings a cleaner interface, better customization, and access to apps like Spotify and YouTube. No full Google integration yet, but it’s a big step forward.
You also get:
- A digital key via smartphone
- Plug & Charge for seamless charging
- Smarter navigation with real-time charging data
- V2L function to power external devices
Smarter, safer driving
Driving tech also gets an upgrade. Improved one-pedal driving makes city life easier, while Travel Assist 3.0 enhances lane keeping, speed control, and even emergency stops.
Already a best-seller
The Elroq is already making waves, ranking among Europe’s top EVs. With these updates rolling out in mid-2026, Skoda is clearly doubling down.
Bottom line? The Elroq isn’t just keeping up, it’s leveling up.
