Volkswagen Multivan Gets a Glow-Up… But the Best Part Isn’t Here Yet

Volkswagen just dropped a first look at the refreshed Multivan T7, and while the exterior gets a nice upgrade, the real game-changer is still being kept under wraps.
At first glance, the updates are pretty subtle but clean. The front end now feels more modern, borrowing some inspiration from the futuristic ID. Buzz. You get a redesigned bumper, sharper LED headlights, and a more streamlined grille that gives the van a wider, more confident stance. It’s not a total makeover, but it’s definitely a glow-up.

From the side, things stay mostly the same. However, Volkswagen is bringing fresh vibes with new color options, including stylish two-tone combinations. One standout? A mix of Candy White and Grey Brown metallic. Even cooler matte paint is finally making its debut on the Multivan, adding a premium touch that wasn’t available before.
Wheel options also get a refresh, with updated designs ranging from 17 to 19 inches. Clean, modern, and clearly designed to keep the Multivan looking fresh in a competitive segment.
But Here’s the Real Twist…
Volkswagen didn’t reveal the interior yet—and that’s where things get interesting. The brand is teasing “major improvements” coming later in 2026, including a bigger infotainment screen and a much more intuitive interface. Expect a tech upgrade inspired by VW’s electric lineup, especially the ID. family.

Performance Stays Solid
Under the hood, no big surprises. The plug-in hybrid version sticks around, combining a 1.5L turbo engine with electric motors for around 241 hp. Plus, it can go up to 95 km in full electric mode—perfect for daily city drives.
Bottom line? The new Multivan looks better, feels fresher, but the real upgrade is still loading… ⏳
