Charles Leclerc Unveils Stunning Monaco-Themed Ferrari Daytona SP3: A Tribute to His Roots

Charles Leclerc, Scuderia Ferrari’s F1 star, has unveiled the latest addition to his growing Ferrari collection: a Ferrari Daytona SP3 with a stunning Monaco-themed design. This unique model will be displayed at the Museo Enzo Ferrari in Maranello for a limited time, showcasing Leclerc’s personal style and connection to his homeland.

As a proud Ferrari ambassador and passionate car collector, Leclerc owns several limited-production models from Ferrari, but his Daytona SP3 is particularly special. He spent five to six hours at the Centro Stile Ferrari, ensuring every aspect of his vehicle was tailored to perfection. Leclerc’s car is finished in matte black with two red and white racing stripes inspired by his Monaco-themed helmet, adding a sleek, understated aesthetic to the hypercar.

The exterior features personalized touches, including carbon fiber accents decorated with red highlights, matching the red brake calipers nestled behind black wheels. Large Ferrari emblems adorn the doors, while Leclerc’s racing number 16 is proudly displayed on the B-pillars.

Leclerc believes “every Ferrari needs a little bit of red,” a philosophy reflected in the custom red and black interior. The seats and paddle shifters also display the Monegasque flag, paying homage to Leclerc’s roots. Another distinctive feature is the metal plaque between the seats, engraved with Leclerc’s signature and racing number, a testament to his dedication to Ferrari and F1.

The Daytona SP3, part of Ferrari’s Icona series, made its debut in 2021 with a price tag of €2 million ($2.2 million) and a limited production run of just 599 units. Based on the La Ferrari, this model boasts a naturally aspirated V12 engine producing 829 hp (618 kW / 840 PS) and 697 Nm (514 lb-ft) of torque. With its curvaceous bodywork inspired by Ferrari’s racing heritage, the Daytona SP3 is a true masterpiece of engineering and design.

Beyond the Daytona SP3, Leclerc’s Ferrari collection includes a matte white 812 Competizione, a silver Purosangue, and a matte black 488 Pista Spider. With his most prized possession now on display at the museum, Leclerc has a range of impressive alternatives at his disposal.

This new addition not only cements Leclerc’s status as a dedicated Ferrari fan but also reflects his commitment to maintaining a strong connection with Monaco, both in his racing career and personal life.
